As more and more avenues open up for teenagers around the world, YuvaLok felt the urge to teach our teenagers who have dropped out of various schools or for those sitting idle, discipline and good manners – along with a vocation – to survive in the fast growing world and to become useful citizens who contribute positively to the community.
At present we run only one project called “Threads of Life” a full fledged tailoring traning program for girls in the age group of 15 to 24 yrs. They are also trained in painting, making of hand made greeting cards and screen printing, apart from basics in Computers, Spoken English and Mathematics.
The course is for a period of 12 months and those successful trainees are placed in suitable jobs, however, most girls prefer to start of business on their own.
